Mike “DJ Fido” Reyes is a Los Angeles-Based DJ / Producer. In the early days of house music, DJ Fido found his inspiration from underground house music and strived to bring this genre to the masses
in Los Angeles. DJ Fido has been a staple of the Los Angeles Underground House music scene for decades and continues to rock dance floors.
In the early 90s, DJ Fido was one of the masterminds behind the world famous “Flammable Liquid” after hours club, which he produced, and DJ’d at on a weekly basis. DJs included (resident) DJ Doc Martin and DJ Fido. DJ Fido also played with Barry Weaver, Steve Loria, Mark Lewis, Marques Wyatt. DJ Fido has played at major club events in Seattle along with Donald Glaude, Jam and Spoon, Eugene Fauntleroy, Jerry Abstract, Laura Lynn Murphy, and DJ EVA, Brian Lyons (Flammable Seattle) to name a few.
He continues to play in Los Angeles at various events, along with Kenny Summit, Jason Blakemore, Scott K, Bret Wallace, Dougal, Jaymystic, Steve Tek, Justin Schumacher, Karizma, and many more. DJ Fido recently played at the world famous The Standard roof top in LA. DJ Fido also played at “LA’s best nightclub” King King for “Disco Does It,” along with Lars Behrenroth and Kenny Summit. rock dance floors.
DJ Fido has the skills for hitting the dance floors with house/disco classics mixed in with groovin’ “Chicago Style” house beats from today and yesterday. Dj Fido’s been referred to as a “Purveyor of True House Music”.
